She will work with your existing creative team–or bring in her own writers and designers–to help you produce professional, high-quality communication pieces. Below are examples of some of the agency’s publications work.
Country Lifestyle Magazine ~ Served as Managing Editor of Country Lifestyle in 2010, and in 2005. This full-color magazine focuses on the people, places and events of gorgeous Texas Hill Country. During that time, it was sold on newsstands at HEB, Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, Borders and other select retail centers. It also was mailed to homes, businesses and paid subscribers throughout the state and the nation, and distributed to hotels, visitor centers, bank lobbies and fine health spas.

Target audience:
10,000 relocating families and businesses. The new guide, published by CommunityLink, is the only relocation guide endorsed by The Chamber; it highlights member companies and is a valuable resource to new and existing businesses and families of the Alamo City. In addition to the hard-copy distribution, the Relocation Guide is also available online, providing easy access for thousands of viewers. Cincinnati: City of Charm / Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce ~ The Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce–and Towery Publishing of TN–identified Bastian as one of the city’s top freelance business communicators, and hired her to co-write corporate profiles about many of Cincinnati’s corporate citizens. These 100 profiles (800 to 1,000 words each), were published in the 350-page coffee-table book Cincinnati: City of Charm. Bastian was required to conduct personal interviews with C-suite executives for each of her 50 profiles. Challenges: At first project managers said all editorial had to be created in 12-14 months, but that deadline was collapsed to a short 7-month period. Additionally, all copy had to have the same “voice.” Bastian completed the work on time, and with happy profiled companies. The co-author of the city narrative (balanced out the profiles and 100s of color photos) was Nick Clooney, father of George. 10,000 copies printed and sold out.
