Materials
Over the years,
Bastian Public Relations has been selected to write high-profile
marketing brochures for major corporations and economic development
entities, as well as for small to medium-sized firms.
Presented here
are a few examples of the marketing materials we've prepared for some
of our valued business partners.

Public
Service Electric & Gas
Within three short
weeks, BPR wrote a 13,000-word PSE&G brochure about the merits for U.S.
and foreign businesses to relocate to New Jersey. Piece won major promotional
writing award. BPR wrote an updated version
the next year. Both projects involved two days of on-site research
in Newark to secure quotes, find new story angles and obtain vital background
information. PSE&G is New Jersey's largest utility.

Tandy
Corporation
BPR
wrote an image-positioning brochure for Tandy Corporation's new Video
Concepts retail chain within a tight 36-hour deadline. Client said
the piece helped Video Concepts win vital leases from major mall developers,
and greatly contributed to the brand's national "rollout" success.

City
of Las Vegas
BPR wrote a 4,000-word
brochure for the City of Las Vegas' Economic Development Department
to persuade new businesses to relocate to the region. It was the first
major four-color piece created by the department for this purpose; and
has generated dozens of strong leads since the City began distributing
it. Project demanded two days of intensive on-site interviews in
Vegas gather new information and collect research data.

Wright
State University's School of Medicine
BPR worked with
10 physicians to write the school's first recruitment brochure. Client
said the piece was directly responsible for a major boost in student
enrollment.

Mercy
Regional Health System
Before the nationally
famous writer Heidi Murkoff (co-author, What to Expect When You're
Expecting) presented her pregnancy seminar in Greater Cincinnati,
BPR wrote this promotional brochure for the sponsoring hospital care
system to distribute in the community. Seminar was deemed a success
and was well attended, the client reported.

Swope
Parkway Health Center
BPR wrote a Medicare
benefits brochure for the patients of this Kansas City hospital serving
many of the region's low-income citizens. Part of a communications
program which included a periodic newsletter and simplified annual report.

AMPIP
AMPIP is the acronym used
by Mexico's premiere industrial park association. BPR created a 1,300-word
AMPIP brochure (plus two updated versions). Its audience: U.S. firms
considering a move to Mexico to take advantage of NAFTA's trade and
tax benefits.

Forum
Design Forum
is an architectural, graphic design and interior design firm with a
national client base headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. BPR wrote client
profiles about the store concepts created for well-known firms including
GM's
Pontiac division store, Hit
or Miss clothing store, Tandy
Corp.'s VideoConcepts and Wagons-lits
Travel.
