Project: Write long-form stories of interest to U.S. travel managers

Established in 1983, Corporate & Incentive Travel business magazine was written for the professional meeting planners responsible for meeting, convention and incentive programs. It wwas delivered monthly by mail to more than 40,000 loyal subscribers. In addition to featuring in-depth destination reports, each issue provided news the planners needed to help them in the areas of site selection, accommodations, travel costs/modes, conference facilities, budgeting and negotiations, CSR and green meetings, education and certification, ethics, teambuilding and unique venues, etc.

TASKS

Bastian was retained as a Contributing Editor to write multiple nationally focused stories about corporate and incentive travel issues of interest to travel managers. She sought out and interviewed thought leaders in the field and other professionals, then produced articles 1,500 to 2,500 words in length.
