Project: Creation of new shopping website for U.S. firm selling freshwater pearl jewelry from pearl farms

In operation for eight years, FunPearls.com was an online pearl jewelry store selling beautiful and affordable freshwater pearl, coral and gemstone jewelry sourced directly by a half dozen pearl farms and wholesale jewelry firm.  The website sold over 500 earrings, necklaces, pendant, brooches and bracelets.

TASKS

• Bastian designed/developed the FunPearls.com website, did research to find the best pearl farm partners, enhanced photos, and created/uploaded over 500 product listings. The website also included a pearl glossary and informational pearl videos.

• Bastian also designed the company’s logo and tagline, did social media postings on regularl basis, and secured local newspaper publicity plus speaking engagements at women's clubs.
