The National Career Development Association (NCDA) inspires and empowers the achievement of career and life goals by providing professional development, resources, standards, scientific research, and advocacy. 

​

TASKS

Bastian was chosen from PR agencies throughout the nation to write a major media kit (6+ press releases) to promote the organization’s upcoing national convention held in Cincinnati, Ohio. She secured a favorable nationally distributed Associated Press wire story on career education and NCDA., plus a high-profile, front-page story in the local daily newspaper’s Business Section about the conference and its keynote speaker, MegaTrends business book author, John Naisbitt.

A post-event review of publicity success revealed that Bastian’s efforts were responsible for over 11 million impressions in the general marketplace.  Her public relations efforts, and results,  were called “outstanding” by the client.
