Project: 102-page 2011 relocation guide to recruit new businesses and inform relocating families/operations

​

 

The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce has been serving businesses in San Antonio, Texas, since 1894. Its goal is to continuously improve the business climate and build opportunities for growth for San Antonio and the surrounding regions. This is accomplished via programs focused on advocacy, economic development, events, and direct services to members.

TASKS

As copywriter of the Chamber’s 2011 Relocation Guide, Bastian authored the 10 major features in the 102-page piece. The supporting charts, photos and other editorial elements were provided by the Chamber’s talented team of creative and research professionals (most notably, VP of Image/Communications Becky Bridges).

 

After this flagship publication was published in April 2011, it was distributed to 10,000 relocating familes and businesses throughout the nation., and also used as an economic development recruitment tool to attract U.S. and foreign companies.

The guide won a global 2012 APEX writing award for Lisa Bastian.
